After passing exams she entered a famous university on Belphus and met her husband: Liam Acqua.

They graduated and began a company developing ocean cleansing technologies, the rights and patents of which were sold to major corporations.

While this decision was later challenged, Carissa Acqua was directly blamed by ordinary citizens.
