We used to have a multitude of gods until a powerful stranger came to our world.

He carried with him a magic bag which talked and worked wonders.

Don’t give me that look young man, I’m simply reciting what I heard.

The gods of our world offended the stranger, so he threw them into the bag and stole them away from us. Forever.’

Gods. Goddesses. The Tourism Board saw fit to remove some from existence on Seed Worlds and Variant worlds due to creating a more interesting environment.

Tourism Operatives are usually responsible for removing deities and all traces of them.

In rare situations gods can be replaced when suitable candidates arise. There are Variant Worlds where gods and goddesses exist due to popular demand.
