She was…minor once. The other gods outshone her, the ones who were diminished.
They lent her power and she wars against the Corruption across our kingdom.
No. She no longer talks to us, only the Queen. Ah..you want my personal opinion.
The priests, the people, the shadows of gods. Too much has been asked of her.
Sadly…I believe she’s gone insane. We love her though. Poor Deity.

The Kingdom of Nurburg was famous for gods once. Part of the reason it was able to dominate the central area and turn three neighbouring kingdoms into vassal states.
The Corruption struck after the death of the Dark Lord during the Final War.
All of this you are aware. The Church of Light espouses the goods and evils and controls our state, our way of life and forever protects us under the power of the Light under a Goddess who shines day and night above her temple.
What you don’t know is that she says. Only the Queen has claimed to hear her voice, but what if I told you that there are those of her original faith. Old ones who remember her prayers and the rites when the Goddess Aliza was a minor goddess.
We hear her. And she screams over and over for an end. By not allowing the Corruption to take us all over we are allowing her to live a life of agony. This is why we follow the will of the Dark Lord, the will of his artifact.
Only in the final death of the Kingdom of Nurburg will we find salvation and the Goddess will redeem us for our failure to protect her.
