Along came this adventurer group who took over. What else could I do?
I hit the Emergency Lockdown and trapped them inside. Stupid Player-Gods.
What I really want to know, was did The Founder plan this to happen in advance?
I hope they rot in there. They turned it into a nightmare. I will find a solution. I will!

We tried to make a standard LitRPG Dungeon and it failed.
Either the System was too weak, the Players were too strong or another reason we can’t fathom.
But they’re trapped inside, we have visuals but everything else outside of the Exit Function was locked down.
Ever seen a sealed jar full of poisonous creatures fight each other to the death?
They had this dream of building out their own genre levels and becoming rulers of their own domains. And then they fell into a civil war and broke most of it, resources burned through, forced to recycle the NPCs over and over and rebuild what they could.
Then they established a truce of sorts, an agreement to stay on their own levels and build their nightmares with dust and ash. Good for us though.
They became way too overpowered, even with the false exit procedure we fixed in place.
I will grant they were smart enough to jury rig a basic candidate retrieval system but it only works on occasion with the rare one or two desperate idiots who accept it.
One of these days, they’re going to find someone who doesn’t like being trapped and will kill them all. All they need is an edge.
Goodbye Mr Wolff. This conversation never happened, you’re in a dream. Time to wake up and go to your boring corporate job. But remember the Kris knife. It can cut far more than flesh and bone.
