We have beings which call themselves gods. I’m talking about that lot who hijacked one of my dungeons.

There are beings who are either worshipped or in control of a situation where baseline mortals ask them for power.
The results aren’t always good or preferred but there is an action. Asking for a Blessing from a [Stone God] would be an act of sheer madness and desperation.
They will bless you and answer your prayer but consume your entire soul and memories in the process. Other examples would be from the [Drowned Gods].
Freshly arrives Player-Candidates don’t even realise how their bodies and minds are mutating for the price of power until it’s too late.
Other gods and goddesses are more benevolent and ask for nothing in return, not even worship or belief.
The Goddess of Light in her broken kingdom answers all prayers and protects the capital city and surrounding countryside from a magical infection out of sheer kindness and belief.
The fact she is burning through the lifeforce and powers of the other gods of the kingdom is another affair.
Don’t trust gods or goddesses. And anyone who prays to one of my Tourism Operatives is to be removed from our fictional reality.
Remember. The Tourism Board is Above All.
